Services Provided by A Center For Grieving Children:
Support Groups: A Center For Grieving Children provides a safe, caring environment which supports children and their families as they work through their grief and loss. There is no charge for attending our support groups.
Schools: We are available to provide training and initiate support groups.
Crisis Intervention and Consultation: We are available to schools, community and governmental agencies.
Education: We provide workshops, presentations and in-service seminars to teachers, counselors, parents, individuals and community agencies on how children grieve and how to provide support to promote healing.
Community Outreach: Representatives from A Center For Grieving Children go into the community to share information about the Center's programs and services.
Speaker Series: We schedule speakers on a monthly basis who speak about family-related issues for our families and the public.
Library: We have an extensive lending library that is available to the public.
