The Executive Director's Report
Every year more families, schools, and community agencies are using our services. I have had the privilege of providing training across the state of Utah, meeting wonderful, dedicated people who want to increase their knowledge in an effort to help children, teens and families impacted by death, divorce, separation and foster care.
At A Center For Grieving Children we are fulfilling our mission of providing a safe and caring environment where children, teens and families may support each other as they grieve their personal losses. I am proud of our efforts to continually improve and expand our programs. It has been gratifying as parents express to me what a positive impact coming to our Center has made in their children's lives.
Our groups provide an environment in which bereaved children can safely mourn, and where they are allowed to explore thoughts and feelings about their loss in a way that helps them be compassionate with themselves and others.
